We are seeking for a seasoned SaaS Automotive Sales Professional with a strong background in the software automotive retail or wholesale industry, with deep relationships with OEM and dealer groups and to Car Auctions and Online Marketplace Platforms.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in closing multi-year contracts, working with car dealerships, Car Auctions, Vehicle Inspections, with automotive partners, and has confidently managed the full sales lifecycle.  This role requires excellent communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to build long-term relationships within the automotive ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • actively identify, contact, and engage potential customers within the automotive sector (dealers, auction participants, partners);
  • sell and close deals related to online car auction services and automotive solutions;
  • build and maintain strong relationships with car dealers, auto inspectors, and other industry stakeholders;
  • conduct outbound sales activities including cold calls, follow-ups, and lead nurturing;
  • present products, services, and pricing clearly and professionally;
  • manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, negotiation, closing, and after-sales follow-up;
  • maintain accurate records of all interactions, deals, and customer data in the CRM system;
  • follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction;
  • stay up to date with market trends, automotive auction processes, and competitor offerings;
  • handle customer questions, concerns, and objections in a professional manner;
  • contribute to the expansion of the customer base in the South African automotive market.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED:

  • proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably with online car auctions;
  • demonstrated ability to close sales deals in B2B or B2C automotive environments;
  • experience working with auto inspectors, car dealers, and automotive partners;
  • strong background in sales, inside sales, or business development;
  • excellent spoken and written English (mandatory);
  • confident phone presence with professional communication and negotiation skills;
  • experience using CRM systems and other sales-related tools;
  • strong organizational skills and attention to details;
  • ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively;
  • results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on targets and performance.

Job requirements: candidate hold a valid driver’s license in South Africa and can travel seamlessly to client locations within SA. For online engagements, the requirements are; high-speed Internet (50 Mbps upload and download speeds), noise-cancelling headset, high quality video conferencing camera to participate with clients and company management.

Compensation (DOE): R30,000 Salary + Commissions + Performance Bonus.
